Gentlemen,

I have recently been informed that I have been voted Gentleman of the Year. It is a great honor to have been selected for such a title by both my peers and the people. As a constituent of the Chain of Gentlemen I draw my guidance on how to uphold the values of a gentleman on a daily basis from its other members. Obviously, this means to have even been considered for such a post would not have been possible without their help. I would also like to use this opportunity to acknowledge the tremendous tenure of my predecessor. During his term, I was fortunate enough to participate in what was easily the most gentlemanly year in history. Of course his success would not have been possible without the efforts of gentlemen such as yourselves. Finally, I would like to recognize the campaigns of all nominees in the past voting year, as the cases presented in all such campaigns filled what was indeed a difficult field to navigate.
